Conjunctions

These 2
conjunctions enable us to combine sentences (i.e clauses) in different ways to
achieve different effects.
All grammatical structures can be
coordinated, but only clauses can be subordinated.
For
sentences, we don’t need conjunctions at all.
Sentences can stand alone to express complete thoughts.
Conjunctions

connectors ----- links words, phrases /
clauses ----- indicate the relationship between the elements that it connects in the sentence
Forms

----- Compound ----- as long as, provided that, so that
----- Correlative
---- not only… but also,
